Message There is a small amount of clearance that gets filled with oil, you can try dripping some clean oil into the feed and spin the shaft a few rotations then perhaps you will notice less to no play. One thing I would strongly suggest is to get the shaft balanced by a turbo specialist. There's a good chance it's still balanced if you were anal about keeping the wheel and nut indexed exactly the same as before you took it apart but if you have access the turbo balancing service it's worth it.
